Salman Khan Has No Fear
Despite the heightened security concerns, Salman Khan remains unfazed. He has rarely spoken about the threats, but for the first time, he has addressed the issue.
During the promotion of his upcoming film Sikandar, Salman was asked by the media whether he felt afraid of Lawrence Bishnoi’s threats. To this, he responded, “God and Allah are the same. I only believe in Him. One must live for as long as their fate allows.”
However, he admitted that the heavy security measures can sometimes be frustrating. “At times, having so many people around can be quite annoying. That’s the only issue,” he remarked.

A Life Confined to Home and Film Sets
Since the threats began, Salman Khan’s life has been restricted to his residence and film sets. He has made fewer public appearances, and photographers rarely get a chance to capture him. Addressing this, he commented, “Seeing journalists around does not bother me at all. In fact, when they are not there, it feels like something is missing from my style! My life is now only about Galaxy (his home) and shooting sets. I go from home to the set and back again—this is my routine now.”
A Long History of Threats from the Bishnoi Gang
The conflict between Salman Khan and the Bishnoi community dates back to 1998 when he was accused of hunting blackbucks during the filming of Hum Saath Saath Hain in Kankani village, Rajasthan. Since then, he has been on the radar of Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang, who have repeatedly issued death threats against him.
Over the past year, the threats have intensified. A few months ago, gunshots were fired outside Salman’s Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai. Additionally, his close associate Baba Siddiqui was murdered, and a violent attack was carried out on a friend’s residence abroad.
Stronger Security Measures in Place
Due to the escalating threats, Salman Khan’s security has been significantly strengthened. He is now under ‘Y-Plus’ category protection. To enhance his safety, he has imported a bulletproof car from Dubai at a cost of ₹2 crore, and his entire bungalow’s balcony has been reinforced with bulletproof glass.
Will he have to live under the constant shadow of security threats for the rest of his life? In response to this, Salman Khan has given a clear and confident answer: “I will live as long as it is written in my fate.”
